At Wonderful Mind we work in partnership with Northern Dojo Karate, and Ashwood Horse Riding to assist our clients in their journey of early intervention or recovery. Together, we help outlining goals in their recovery journey, creating self awareness and to maintain their daily regime through a holistic mind and body approach. Our therapists work closely as a team to provide multimodal approach to therapy.
In her professional role as the mental health practitioner, Nikoo assists her clients to maintain their treatment regimes, monitoring their mental health and safety. She is aware of cultural responsive framework and employs a sensitive practice in working with individuals from different backgrounds.
She also facilitates workshops, groups, and one on one art therapy sessions to assist clients to thrive and grow from their trauma and psychological struggles. She has been using variety of materials and different forms of arts in her therapy sessions wherein clients can explore and choose the methods they are most comfortable with and find best to connect to. She is a fine artist herself and works with ceramic and wide range of other materials to both express and regulate her feelings.
