Welcome to The Mutts Nuts, a boutique dog holiday retreat in Degilbo, Queensland. We’re Julia and Shane, and we run our dog stay from our organic farm—home to a pack of happy Kelpies, a few bossy geese, and a cat who’s definitely middle management.
We created The Mutts Nuts because we believed dogs deserve a real holiday, not a concrete kennel. Here, your dog becomes part of the household—staying in our farmhouse, snoozing on the couch, roaming the paddocks, splashing in the river, and enjoying food that’s honestly better than most humans eat.
With years of experience training working dogs and helping rescue dogs find their feet, we focus on the perfect balance of freedom, structure, and ridiculous amounts of affection. Every guest also gets a little Bowen therapy to help them unwind, reset, and truly relax.
